ELA~ WEEK FIFTEEN~ LESSON PLAN

1.) Chapter 2-3 LOTF's Quiz
2.) Read Chapters 4-5

*** OVER BREAK... Read Chapters 4-5 LOTF's and write an analysis for each chapter. Analysis should address the following: 
- Discuss any themes that reveal themselves in the chapters (loss of innocence, power, loss of/transfer of identity, civilization, rules/order, fear, youth, and wisdom & knowledge).

- Discuss any conflicts that have come up on the Island and if they are or can be solved. How?

- Discuss any symbolism within these chapters (fire, glasses, masks, water, the beast, the conch). Some of these symbols may have changed since the beginning of the novel. 

- Note anything else that you believe is significant within these chapters!!

Chapter Analysis' are due the Monday we get back. Be prepared to discuss!!!
