Close Read: Teaching History Through Fiction

Both essays focus on The Boy in the Striped Pajamas in discussing the role of fiction in teaching history. But the writers approach the book from different perspectives. 

1.) Compare and contrast these perspectives. 
2.) Which argument is more effective and persuasive? 
3.) How might you suggest making it even stronger?
